The Wamego Area Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization that facilitates local and regional economic growth. Your investment in the Chamber supports significant efforts in three key areas:
Member Value and Business Advocacy - Deliver high-quality member services, events, programs, education, exposure and communication - including Monthly Luncheons, Business After Hours, educational seminars, ribbon-cuttings & ground-breakings, monthly email updates, Young Professionals, Peer Chamber, Legislative & Business Caucuses, annual Ag-Appreciation Night, annual Golf Tournament, annual Regional Leaders Retreat and Annual Celebration. Educate the community and encouraging involvement in all facets of the Chamber. Advocate on behalf of the local business community and Chamber members in a way that leads to positive economic impact and perception of the Wamego-area business community.
Economic Development & Public Policy - Support Partner Organizations in ED efforts - PCEDC/GMEP, City of Wamego & Pott. Co - while providing information and support on policy issues to Chamber members.
Major Events & Tourism - Tourism & Asset Development through the Wamego Convention & Visitors Bureau, Volunteer Recruitment & Retention, Tulip Festival, 4th of July, OZtoberFEST and other event coordination and marketing.
